QUERIES TO BOARD
Meat Export Control Act (N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 6. The Meat Board has been asked by the Government for more details to back its request for changes to the Meat Export Control Act. It has been asked for more precise evidence of losses by New Zealand producers under present marketing arrangements and to indicate how the board would operate if an amendment were granted. Parliament was told this today by the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Talboys) He was replying to a ques - tion by the acting Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nordmeyer). Mr Talboys said that as soon as the required information was received, the board's request would be considered
