Sea Scouts’ Walk.—A party of Diamond Harbour sea scouts and cubs walked from Gebbie's Valley by way of the radio station, to the Sign of the Packhorse, and ascended Mount Herbert and Mount Herbert Peak on Sunday. The boys, whose ages ranged from nine to 14 years, were led by their cubmaster, B. Bowater. Their next target is to raise funds for the building of a scout den on a piece of land leased by the Lyttelton Borough Council.
