Referee For Test

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. August 28. Mr A. B. Farquhar of Auckland. who controlled all three Rugby tests between New Zealand and France last season has been named as referee for the second test between Australia and New Zealand at Dunedin on September 8 This was announced today by Mr G. H Geddes, secretary of the New Zealand Rugby Union He also said that Mr F. G. M. Parkinson (Manawatu) would referee Waikato's Ranfurly Shield Challenge against Auckland on Saturday. The referee tentatively appointed for the Taranaki challenge on September 4, is Mr J. M Forsyth (Waikato).
