Australian To Referee
(NZ. Press Association) WESTPORT. August 28 The referee in the curtainraiser for the match between the touring Australian Rugbyteam and the combined BullerWest Coast side at Westport tomorrow will come under severe scrutiny from the Australian team. He is Mr J. A. McLean, manager of the Australian team, and a leading Australian referee until he retired a few years ago. Mr McLean still referees matches in Sydney.
