COMMERCIAL Weaker Trend Continues In N.Z. Share Trading
Share trading in New Zealand yesterday continued to follow a weak trend with both New Zealand shares and overseas issues both showing more falls than rises.
Best gain among New Zealand shares was made by Lane Walker Rudkin B, in first business since May 16, in a Is lid rise to 14s 3d. These shares have now risen by the same amount as the old shares.
Only overseas issues to advance were Bank of New South Wales, New Zealand register, up 10s to £34 ss, Woolworths, up Id at Ils 9d, and Woolworths rights up 2d at 6s lid.
