MAN FOUND DEAD

Fire At House (N.Z. Press Association) PALM. NORTH. Aug. 28. Three detectives of the Palmerston North C. 1.8. spent yesterday in Foxton making investigations into a Are at a house in Jenks street after which a man was found dead. The man, Richard ffohn Miller, aged 56. a pensioner, was known to have been ill for a long time. When the Foxton Fire Brigade went to 14 Jenks street, at 5 a.m. yesterday as a result of a call from a street alarm the dead man’s bed and part of the bedroom wall were alight. The cause of his death is not known.
