Pricing Errors By Builders

Too many builders were incapable of accurate pricing, and low pricing brought inevitable consequences and financial difficulties, said the retiring president (Mr H. L. Parker) at the Hutt Valley Master Builders’ Association’s annual meeting. If the industry gave more attention to efficiency he was confident costs could be reduced and profits increased. One of the major problems stemmed from the lack of availability of training facilities and broader education in the industry, said Mr Parker.
