12,000 Dig For Toheroas
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 27. An estimated 12,000 people
in 3000 to 4000 cars one of the biggest crowds of the season were on Muriwai Beach on the last Sunday of the toheroa season. The beds 18 miles and more along the beach produced limit quotas but people who stopped before that had difficulty in getting limits.
