New Zealand-bred Iman had bts fourth win in succession when he won the Canterbury Park Handicap at Canterbury yesterday.

His win also landed three winning bets amounting to £lO.OOO Iman, even money, had to be ridden out at the finish to hold off a strong challenge of Nukuata. 12 to 1. by a short neck Palm Brandy. 5 to 1. was a half a length away third

The big winning bets on Iman were an even £5OOO. an even £3OOO. and an even £2OOO. Iman touched 10 to 9 on at one stage of the betting, but later eased to even money. Iman’s win give the jocke\ G Moore three wins from three rides at yesterday’s meeting. The trainer.
