Girls Give Bouquet

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aug. 22.

Queen Sirikit was carrying only one bouquet when she arrived at the Star Hotel from Hamilton tonight. In accepting it she provided two nine-year-old Remuera girls with the thrill of their lives. “She's wonderful,” the girls sighed after the Queen ordered the car stopped in Orakei road in pouring rain and took from them their bouquet of daffodils, freesias, jasmine and fern. Meredith Webster and Margaret Whitehead began their wait in heavy rain half an hour before the Royal couple arrived 200 yards below Remuera road.
