Philippines (N.Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyright) MANILA, Aug. 22. Paracholera, the disease which killed about 2000 people in the Philippines last year, has been brought under control in the South-east Asian Archipelago, according to health authorities.

However, sporadic cases are still being reported throughout the country at the rate of 70 to 130 patients a week. Th ■ Secretary of Health. Mr Francisco Duque, told reporters that the immunisation drive of the Health Department, together with the campaign to instruct the people to maintain a sanitary environment at all times would be continued.
