BARKING DOGS

Complaint By Resident A resident of St. David street, Lyttelton complained about the barking of a neighbour's dogs, in a letter received by the Lyttelton Borough Council. Two dogs were kept tethered at the back of her neighbour's property, the letter said, ' and outside bis boundary One dog yelped day and night, the letter said. On the motion of Cr. W. Dodds it was decided to write to the owner of the dogs and ask him if he could do something about the noise. Cr. G. E. Boyd moved a further motion that the hydatids officer should investigate and see how many dogs were registered by the owner of the dogs in question. The motion was adopted.
