CANTERBURY SHEEP DOG TRIAL ASSOCIATION AT the Annual Meeting of the above Association the following motion was passed: "That Shows and Ploughing Matches are exempt from tire restriction on open dogs but a permit must be applied for.” The Canterbury Centre will in future enforce Rule 39 of the New Zealand Sheep Dog Trial Association. Rule 39 reads as follows: — "No member of a club shall knowingly compete at any trial organised or conducted by a club or other body not affiliated with the Association or not affiliated with another Sheep Dog Trial Asosciation recognised by this Association. Any member committing a breach of this rule and the dog or dogs so competing shall be disqualified during the pleasure iof the Council.
