SUPPLEMENTARY LIST OF BLUES
Otago Students’ Double Award
The chairman of the New Zealand University Blues Panel (Mr J D. Mackay) has announced the following supplementary list of awards of Blues arising out of the recent interuniversity sporting tournament in Christchurch: Men’s Basketball—J. Arden (Victoria). R- Zachariassen (Canterbury). P. Betts (Victoria). W. Smith (Canterbury). D. Edwards (Canterbury). Golf.—G. Williamson (Otago). C. Munro (Otago). Mr Mackay also announced that Miss R. Quirke. of Otago University, who was last week awarded a 1062 Blue for outdoor basketball, has also been awarded a Blue for 1961 in the same sport. Ski-ing awards are still to be considered.
