TWO WINS FOR N.Z. TOURISTS
Inter-University Matches (N.Z. Preu Association) MELBOURNE. August 21. The New Zealand Universities' women's basketball team made a good start in the opening round of the inter-university matches at Melbourne today. The tourists defeated Sydney University. 39-7, and beat Melbourne University. 18-15. after a hard and close contest. The New Zealanders will play Queensland University tomorrow.
