WOMAN FATALLY INJURED

Husband Injured In Collision (N.Z. Press Association) LEVIN, August 20. An Otaki woman was fatally injured and her husband is in the Palmerston North Hospital after a collision between two cars at the intersection of Waerenga road with Highway No. 1. Otaki, on Saturday night. The victim was ' Mrs Irene Burton, aged 60. Freemans road. Otaki. The injured man is Mr, Frank Burton, who suffered fractured ribs, a fractured collarbone and lacerations to the forehead. Mrs Burton was operated on shortly after admission to hospital,' but died at 4 a m today. - : The driver of the other car; Stephen Walter Miller, aged 17, of Waikanae, and his four passengers escaped slightly, two primary school girls receiving lacerations to the legs.
