City Visit Begins A wish to come back to New Zealand for a more leisurely tour was expressed in Christchurch yesterday by this year's O'.aki Scholar Colin C Lamont of Aber deen. His itinerary has been heavy, but he said he had nothing but praise for the Dominion's scenery and its hospitable people and was thoroughly enjoying his five week tour. Last night he began his round of Christchurch calls in earnest by paying visits tr several Boys' Brigade units. Today at St. Andrew’s Col leee he will be led up the college drive by the school's pipe band to meet the rector and staff, and to attend an address of welcome. At a chapel service for the senior school he will read the first lesson and plant a tree in the grounds.
He will pay a call on the Mayor iMr G. Manningi. and accompanied by the head and deputy prefects of St- An-d-ew's «P. Wooley and P Rainey > he will visit Chfist’< College. At 2 p.m the party will make a call at the New Zealand Industries Fair and later in the afternoon will go on a scenic drive.
