HONOLULU AIR CRASH

Injured Pair Flown Home (NJZ. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Aug. 15. Mrs Elon Wells and her daughter, Elizabeth. aged two, who were injured in the Britannia airliner crash at Honolulu on July 23, returned to Auckland by air yesterday. They were accompanied on the Canadian Pacific Airlines light from Honolulu by Mias Olwen Burton, of Epsom, a sister of Mrs Weils. They were met at Whenuapai by other members of the family. Mrs Wells and her daughter were both admitted to hospital in Honolulu after the accident but are now progressing favourably. Mrs Wells’s husband. Dr. Peter Wells, a U.N.E.S.C.O. education specialist, and her seven-year-old son, Michael, were among the 27 who toe. their lives in the crash.
