HE COLLECTS IRONS.—Mr Trupheme, a tailor in Nice, France, photographed with some of the 60 old irons he has collected during the last 10 years. Most come from Italy, Russia, China, and Spain. They vary from heavy irons designed for laundrywomen with strong arms, to delicate ones for ironing lace jabots of the eighteenth century.
