Soccer COMMITTEE RESIGNS

Vote Of ‘No Confidence’ (N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, August 14. After a vote of "no confidence” in the Poverty Bay Soccer Association management committee, at a special general meeting on Monday night, the committee resigned en bloc. A trustee comimittee, consisting of nominees i from each club, was formed. ’ The secretary (Mr G. Robson) called the meeting at the request of the Thistle club which stated that the chairman, secretary and a member of the management committee had resigned. This was a sequel to the management committee’s reduction of a suspension sentence on a senior player.

The trustee committee conisits of Messrs A. Holland, J. Boyack and T. Lewis (Thistle); S. Stopford, J. Houston and R. Leakey (Riverina); T. Owen, T. Edwards, and T. McCavana (Eastern Union). High School nominees will be. named later.
