Officers Elected

Air Vice-Marshal Sir Robed Clark-Hall was unanimously re-elected patron of the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Air Force Association at its annual meeting

The retiring nresident (Mr R Clarke) was presented with a set of glasses in aonreciation of his work and a presentation was also made to Mrs W Haskins for he’ contribution in the social committee's work

The president’s report showed thn + the branch was in a sound financial position and that its membership was increasing.

Members voted unan’mouslv for a recommendation to Dominion headquarters that Mr L G Marrin be awarded the Silver Star for his outstanding work over the pas* years in building un the Christchurch branch. Tn that time Mr Merrin has held all the executive positions.

Mr Merrin was re-elected Christchur-h regional chairman and Mr A Hoskins was elected de’eaate to the Dominion conference to be held in Nelson in October Offcors elected were: President. Mr D A Kies’rtm; vicepresidents. Messrs L. G. Merrin and A Hoskins- secretary. Mr F Connelly; treasurer. Miss L. Cole An executive of eight was elected
