Exchange Rates The seven-week improvement in Hie Canadian dollar ended last week with the dollar losin* part of last week’s gain. Other changes last week were all marginal and the pound made as many gains as losses. Altered telegraphic transfer exchange rates as advised yesterday by the Bank of NS W are as follows: New Zealand on— New York: buying. 2 8003 dollars to £N.Z.I (compared with 2.8009 dollars on August 6): selling. 2 7686 dollars <2 76921 Montreal: 3.0199 dollars (3.0192); 2.9813 dollars (2.9806). Japan: 1020 ven (1019); 996 (same). Netherlands: 10.15 guilders (1014); 9.93 guilders (9.92). Sweden: 14 48 crowns (14.50); 14.17 crowns (14.19) Switzerland: 12 17 francs (12 18); 1191 (same). Spain: No buying Quote: selling 164.99 pesetas (165.04). Acceptance Dividends.— First and Second New Zealand Acceptance Companies Ltd..
