The Totalizator Agency Board handled a total of £361,056 10s on Saturday’s racing and trotting meetings, compared with £360,456 5s on the corresponding day last year. Saturday's figure was made up of £158,673 in win and place bets and £202,383 10s on doubles. Details:— Tauranga On-course: £38,996, up £1575. Off-course: £113.648 10s, up £12,987. New Plymouth On-course: £25.018. down £2517 10s Off-course: £46,454 10s, down £2317 15s. Hastings On-course: £38,994, up £1575. Off-course: £55,803, down £17,023 ss. Riccarton On-course: £61.682. down £42.066. Off-course: £143,150 10s, up £6954 ss.
