MOTOR SPIRITS LICENSING
A public jncjuirv was conducted by the Motor Spirit# Licensing Authority vesterdav nto the ri’ht of A. P. E. an<3 L A. D M Foote, of Godley House. Diamond Harbour. to hold a retailer’s licence.
The authority reserved its decision Decision was also reserved on an application by J L. Anderson, the new proprietor of the boarding-house, to t-kc over the licence
The authority comprised Messrs R W Edgley (chairman). H. L Wise, and J. L Hazlett.
An application by W L Harris jun.. to move three pumps 150 yards to the comer of School road and the main Christchurcb-Akaroa highway w-s granted
Stanton's Garage. Ltd , was authorised to sell petrol frotr ;>ne ournp at the corner of Hazeldean road and Selwyn street.
