Compensation Increases

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. August 9. Increases in the rates of workers’ compensation were gazetted tonight following upon the recent 2J per cent, wage order of the Court of Arbitration. The minimum weekly payment for total incapacity is increased from £2 10s to £2 Us a week and the maximum amount from £lO to £lO ss. The maximum weekly payment for partial incapacity is increased from £lO to £lO 5s a week. The new rates take effect in seven days.
