Naval Chiefs To Confer
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. August 8. Three top naval officers from Britain, Australia and New Zealand will meet in Wellington this month for discussions, the Minister of Defence (Mr Eyre) said today. They are the commander-in-chief of the Royal Navy's Far East Fleet (Admiral Sir David Luce), the chief of the Australian Naval Staff (ViceAdmiral W. H. Harrington) and the chief of the New Zealand Naval Staff (Rear Admiral P. Phipps).
