NEW Y.W.C.A. CLASSES

Speaking. Drama. Dancing

Three new activities will be started by the Young Women's Christian Association in Christchurch when classes for ballroom dancing, public speaking and drama begin shortly.

This was announced at the monthly meeting of the association's programme committee. •

Dancing classes will be conduced by Miss Cynthia Stool, and public speaking will be under the direction of Mrs June Harvest who has special.sed in speech training and drama work in Bristol England. The drama class will be conducted by Mrs Muriel Cochrane Ail classes will be open to both men and women. There will be no age limit With the other classes at present being administered by the association in Christchurch, they are under the direction of the committee’s programme secretary <Mrs J Jamieson).

Applications for any of the classes or for the recentlyestablished weekly adult ballet class may be made *o the association’s headquarters
