Marlborough and Nelson.—Light to moderate norther lies predominating; becoming cloudy with scattered rain late today or tonight. Outlook: occasional showers. Canterbury.—Moderate northerlies and fair weather with moderate temperatures at first; moderate southerlies with colder, showery weather spreading from the south this afternoon or evening.
