COLOURED SLIDE EXHIBITION
City Woman Wins Bronze Medal (N.Z Press Association) DUNEDIN. Aug 5. Major honours in the sixth New Zealand International Exhibition of Colour Slides went to overseas entries but New Zealanders won one silver medal and three of the bronze medals in the pictorial section. The exhibition, arranged by the Dunedin Photographic Society, is the biggest held in New Zealand. There was a total entry of about 2100 in the three sections —pictorial nature and stereo. There were 1500 overseas entries from 15 countries. Judges in the pictorial section—Messrs J. G. Johnston and N. M Beaumont, of Dunedin, and Mr F. L. Bowron. of Chrastchurch—had •he task of selecting 300 slides far exhibition from the 1283 entered. Mrs B. G. Wright. of Christchurch, won a bronze medal in the pictorial section.
