R.S.A. Executive’s Proposal A proposal that members of the Christchurch Return°d Services’ Association be asked to contribute 2s 6d a week for two years to help to finance t.he three-storeyed building which the association hopes to build was adopted by the association’s executive last evening. Christchurch had no war memorial for the Second World War. he said, and a building financed by the Returned Services’ Association perhaos could serve as a war memorial, and be . named Anzac House The plans for the buildinc orovided for a floor space of 17.000 sq ft. which could be rented At present prices, this could bring in an annual gross rental of £13.900 From this money the association could afford to employ a full-time social worker.
