BANKRUPT MEETS CREDITORS
Deficiency Of £7ll Shown Debts of £1466 12s 8a to 31 unsecured creditors were shown by George Edward Simpson, aged 40. a milkbar proprietor, at a meeting of his creditors. Simpson, who was adjudged bar.krup* on his own petition on July 20. had a deficiency of £741 6s, said Mr D. Malcolm. agent for the Official Assignee 'Mr O. T. Grattan). Simoson said he took over a milk-bar in the Main North road in January, 1961. Repayments at money borrow ed at too high a rate had prevented his carrying a wide range of stock, and a strike at the Belfast tneezi r. g works had reduced turnover. Mr Malcolm said that the sale of Simpson’s assets, including the equity in b.s house, should give a dividend of about 6s Bd. The meerting agreed that on the payment of £2OO Simpson’s d sebargs from bankruptcy should be facilitated.
