T. N- McAra. who scored the winning try for South Island in the inter-island Rugby match at Lancaster Park on Saturday. McAra, a West Coast representative, came into the team from the reserves when B. A. Watt was injured in Canterbury's match against South Canterbury. In the second half of the inter-island game, McAra gave a competent display, making one blind-side break, and contributing some valuable tactical kicking.
