Forest And Bird Society

Members of the Canterbury branch of the Forest and Bird Protection Society’ of New Zealand are going on a field trip and Arbor Day planting at Kaituna Valley today. The society acts as custodian for the reserve at Kaituna Valley. This year trees will be planted round the car park and new shelter belts will be put In. The trip ts made annually. The society also care* for the reserve by removing noxious weeds and tending the trees.
