Salary Range £1571 to £2231 per annum. APPLICANTS for this position should possess a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University and/or Graduate Membership of the Institute of Engineer*. Australia, or equivalent qualifications, and should have experience in the supervision of contract and daylabour sewerage construction works. The successful applicant will be responsible under the Sewerage Engineer for the control and direction of contract sewerage reticulation expansion which this Council is at present undertaking. Salary payable will be within the range quoted above, subject to the particular qualifications of the successful appointee. Other conditions of e nployment shall be in accordance with the Engineers’ 1 Local Governing Authorities— Queensland Award I. Provision is made for a northern allowance of £27 8s per annum. It is anticipated that a superannuation scheme will be available within a reasonable time to employees of this Council.
