(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. August 2. The Australian and New Zeeland welter-weight champion. W. Coe (Wellington) and the Canterbury feather-weight, D. Murphy, emerged as the outstanding fighters of the final Empire Games boxing trials at the Lower Hutt Town Hall tonight. Coe beat a Samoan, K. Milford (Auckland), with a t.kh. Irt two rounds, and Murphy, giving away 71b. provided the upset of the night by beeting Olympic Gamas representative, F. Donovan, in a thrilling bout, Murphy won on points. Other resulte included:-Bantam-weight.—B. Cummtng (West Coast) beat B. Smlgkit (Waikato), on points. Heavy - weight.—W. Klni (Auckland) beat 3. Syren (Weal Coast), t.k.o 8: 3. Logan (West Coast) beat H. Bristows (Hawke's Bay), t.k.o. 3.
