Muddy Patches On Show Ground
Heavy ram has left muddy patches at the western end of the ova! for today’s match between Carfterbury and the touring British Rugbv League team at the Show Grounds. The surface has been, cleared of water and tomorrow morning sand will be laid In an effort to obtain a drier surface. The assistant manager of the British team (Mr A. Walker, said vesterdav that his side has adapted Itself to the Ifard grounds of Australia and wijl have to do the same to the softer surfaces in New Zealand
