Talk On Divine Healing ‘‘God could and would heal ‘he sick," said Major W Simpson. Salvation Army Dominion evangelist, at a greater Christchurch campaign meeting recently. Major Simpson outlined some of the erroneous ideals concerning divine healing which were prevalent, says a supplied report. He wanted ■to see. a . closer partnership between the minister of God and ‘he medical doctor. Major Simpson said he was'not stating his own viewpoint bit the declared policy of the Salvation Armv. He read t>he words of William Booth from the army’s orders and regulations for officers. In this William Booth had said that divine healing was possible and at the same time denied that, sickness was an evidence of sin cr lack of faith. Major Simpson will conduct a campaign in Nelson next week.
