No Coinplaints To Customs

WELLINGTON. July 18. The Customs Department has so far received no complaint about the presence in New Zealand of Formosanprinted “pirate” copies of university textbooks. There was nothing to stop an importer bringing in such books if he had a licence and ;f the author had not lodged an objection under Section 13 of the Copyright Act, 1913. an official said. Individuals, he said, could import £lO worth of books by parcel post without a licence.
