Increase In Entries

Entries for the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association's annual Grand National Fat Stock Show, which will be held on Monday at the Addington saleyards. show a further increase on last year. Cattle entries total 166, compared with 163 last year, and lambs and sheep 173, compared with 145.

Two clasess have been added to the catalogue. These are for five ewes, over fourshear, longwool, for weights over and under 1121 b. The former hogget classes have been changed to lambs to bring the class of entries into line with the grading system at the abattoirs.
