Some Good Runs At Bankside

In spite of some very good runs, covering a wide area. 45 riders from all parts of Canterbury were unsuccessful in pulling a hare down when the Ashburton branch of the Christchurch Hunt Club held its final hunt of the year on the property of Mr K McBride, of Bankside, yesterdav An unusual aspect of the hunt was the arrival by aeroplane of one of the riders Mr P Ellworthy from South Canterbury Also present was Mr J Moss, a member of the Australian jumping team which toured New Zealand at Christmas Master of the Hunt was Mr D Gould, of Christchurch while Mr I Gliddon of Aylesbury, was huntsman
