Lawn Tennis Engagement Broken
(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter— Copyright) LONDON. July 10 Miss Christine Truman, the 21-year-old British tennis International and a Wjmbledon finalist last year, has broken off her , five-month-old engagement to a Liverpool dental surgeon lecturer, it was disclosed last night.
Miss Truman, a top ranked woman player in Britain since she was 16, met her fiance, Mr Neill Kerr, last September. They announced their engagement on February 17.
