The Canterbury Football Association will attempt to arrange a representative match against Auckland in Christchurch on Sunday. September 23.

Tie Auckland team, holder of the English Football Association trophy, has not played in Christchurch since 1958. when it took the trophy from Canterbury’.

Auckland will be playing against Otago in Dunedin on Saturday. September 22. Qualified Coaches

Advice has been received from the New Zealand Football Association that four Canterbury men gained coaching qualifications at the residential course recently held at Lincoln College. C. Hicks. J. Hinchley and C. Whitehead have been awarded their full New Zealand coaching badges, and D. Chapman has gained his preliminary certificate.
