From that moment all calls to Australia will be made along the cable Mr Holyoake will open the link at the Auckland end at an official ceremony in the Concert Chamber at 3 p.m The wireless international exchange was shifted from Wellington to Auckland to facilitate the change-over to the cable link on which testing has been continuing for the last month.
