Results Of Harrier Runs
M ith the annual Halswell races for harriers next Saturday, long training runs, of distances of 10 miles or more, were the of lbe * or most Chnstcnurch harrier clubs on Saturday. The Mariat club, however, conducted its annual club championship races at Victoria Park. Cashmere Hills, while the Technical and Olympic Clubs raced against each other m their annual contest for the Tech-Oly Shield.
Anglican Clute.—The club was the guest of Mr and Mrs W. Bayard and Mr and Mrs M. W. Crompton, at the St. George's Cnurch hall. Mairehau. Christchurch Club—An informal run. in which two visitors from the Leith Harrier Club Dunedin. T. King and A. Farquharson. joined, was held from L, e .. Al . blon Rugby Football Clubs hall in Tennyson street. Spreydon, to the Sign of the Kiwi and back, which was followed by the club’s half-yearlv general meeting.
