Gymnastics JAPAN WINS MEN’S TITLE

U.S.S.R. Women Successful (N.Z.P -A.-Reuter— Copyright) PRAGUE. July 8. The Soviet Union retained the women's team title in the world gymnastics competition in Prague on Saturday. The Russian Olympic champion, Miss Larisa Latynina, won the individual title. The Soviet team totalled 334 988 points and Miss Latynina scored 77,930 points. On Friday. Japan repeated its success in the Rome Olympics by winning the men's team title, scoring 574.65 points. The Soviet Union was second with 573.15.
