Seven Vehicles Converted (N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, July 5. “If I had the power to order six strokes, I would do so right now," Mr B. S Barry, S.M.. told one of three boys appearing in the Children’s Court at Wanganui today. One boy was committed to the Levin training farm and the other two were placed under the supervision of the Child Welfare Department for two years. The boys, aged 13, 14 and 15 years, had admitted seven charges of unlawful car and motor-cycle conversion, two charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime, and one of theft of six gallons of petrol.
