U.S. ATOMIC TEST
Postponement Of 24 Hours (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON, July 3 The high-altitude nuclear test scheduled to take place over Johnston Island has been postponed for 24 hours from Thursday, the Atomic Energy Commission announced tonight. The test had been scheduled for between 9 p.m. Thursday (New Zealand time) and 12.30 am. Friday. No explanation was given for the delay. The shot was to have been set off ‘’hundreds of kilometres” above Johnston Island.
