Chess BLEDISLOE CUP MATCH

Team To Play Otago Eighteen members of the Canterbury Chess Club will travel to Oamaru on Saturday to play Otago in the annual Bledis’.oe Cup match The match will be played over the board for the first time, as previously the fixture has always been by telegraph. Hollander, J. A. Hunter, M Johnson, Miss A. Wellard-King. R. Mitchell. A. J. Nyman, K. D Smith, G. V. Sumner. M. W. Taylor. L. J. Walpole. On Tuesday. July 10, a 10-man team from the Sunnyside Hospital will play the Canterbury club at the club’s rooms.
