NAVY LEAGUE AUXILIARY

£239 Raised Last Year The women’s auxiliary of the Navy League raised £239 during the year, it was announced at the annual meeting of the auxiliary yesterday. From this, £lOO was given to the Navy League, £3O to the Girls’ Training Corps, and £l5 to T. S. Cornwell. Captain J. N. Allan spoke about the Allied D-Day invasion of Europe, with particular reference to the harbour constructed at Normandy, and showed a film of the operation. Officers elected were:—
