Soccer CANTERBURY TEAMS
G. Donaldson Chosen
The Nomads wing-half, G. Donaldson, who has yet to appear in local premier division football, has been chosen for the Canterbury soccer team to j>lay Otago in Dunedin on July-
Don aid son has been playing for Thistle In the first division, but last week he transferred to Nomads. A native of Dundee. Donaldson arrived in New Zealand last season. For several seasons Donaldson played with ths English first and second division clubs. Nottingham Forest and Leeds United, and made occasional appearances in their top teams. He will play at left half for Canterbury. No members of the Western or Shamrock teams have been chosen, as these teams will meet in the local final ot the Chatham Cup on the same day. Another player new to the representative side is City's A. Westwood. Of the Canterbury team which defeated Wellington earlier this season, only A Ross. B. Chee and P. Rennell remain.
